Separation Agreements may be completed by spouses at any point following an irretrievable break down in the  marriage.  As the description states the Agreement sets out the terms on which the parties agree to separate and live apart. These agreements are binding on the parties and should only be signed when both parties have received independent legal advice. The Seration Agreement usually deal with the following issues;

Each party agrees to stay away and out of the life of the other, their family or friends;

Property division;

Contents distribution;

Payment of historic bills;

Assessment for income tax;

Maintenance/Access to children (if applicable);

Rights to inherit from the other's estate;
